About the project
Project Goal:
To capture photos and short video clips (non-speaking) of chosen talent groups acting in directed scenes that can be used for years to come for various marketing and advertising needs promoting WIC services in the state of New York.
Project Scope:
The Advance Media New York (AMNY) Creative Services team will capture photos and short video clips (non-audio) from three different location settings using a variety of chosen talent. Images and video clips will convey and reinforce WIC-relevant concepts and messaging, i.e., access to healthy food, breastfeeding support, remote appointments, nutrition education, the simplicity and ease of the WIC shopping experience, anthropometry, support for an active and healthy lifestyle, etc.
Location:
Settings for the separate shoots will include a grocery store, a home, and a WIC office all within the Syracuse-area. Two groups of talent are needed for each location setting
Talent Involvement:
Each of these roles will require roughly 2 hours from each talent group. The goal is to capture at least 10 photos and 3 video clips portraying real life moments. The production crew will assist in providing direction as to what's needed in each scene.
Additional:
If chosen, talent groups will need to sign a talent appearance release agreement that will give permission to the agency as well as the client to use photo and video content that's captured for unrestricted use in promoting WIC services in the state of New York.
Flat rate of $400 for each talent group includes travel expenses. Light snacks and water will be provided on the day of the shoot.
Talent Groups Needed
If you and the others in your group are available on a shoot date and meet our criteria, we want to hear from you! The groups do not necessarily have to be related or family members; they can be actors for hire playing a role. We're in need of six groups of talent for the entirety of this project. By applying for a talent group, you are confirming that you are available on the shoot date and meet the criteria for what we're looking for in that group. Besides yourself, you need to have the other required individuals in place since we're looking for group packages.
